Marc Márquez’s move to Gresini Racing meant the end of a long relationship between him and Santi Hernández, filled with many successes. In the Italian team, Marc will have Frankie Carchedi by his side and, despite the little interaction so far with the “new right-hand man,” he refuses to make any comparisons.
‘Working with Frankie… for now, we only had the opportunity to work one day in Valencia, but we have already spent some time together, trying to understand how he works, how I work, and of course, trying to adapt my style to his and his to mine,’ the Spaniard began, later making it clear that he will not compare them, attributing great quality to both:
– He and Santi Hernández are different people, two very good technicians. Santi has won a lot, Frankie has also in the past with different riders, but I won’t compare them, I hate comparisons: everyone has their own style and the most important thing is performance, it’s not a matter of how and why, the most important thing is to try to find the results.
The MotoGP season starts this year with the Shakedown from February 1st to 3rd in Sepang, and a few days later – from 6th to 8th – it will host the first official tests of the year, in the same location.
