Marc Márquez didn't have the best possible start at the Sprint race at Aragon, but yet again showed why he is just better on this track, taking another win on Saturday!

Everything is set for the first race of the weekend, with Marc Márquez starting as the big favorite and leading the championship by 24 points over his brother Álex, who also lines up on the front row for the Grand Prix, just moments away from starting. Franco Morbidelli, fourth in the standings, secured the third spot on the front row.

The race start did not go particularly well for Marc, who dropped to fourth from pole. Álex took the lead ahead of Morbidelli. Aldeguer moved into fourth after Marc overtook him, with Pedro Acosta in fifth and Fabio Quartararo in sixth ahead of Pecco Bagnaia.

On the second lap, Marc continued to climb the positions and reached second place, while Bagnaia was moving in the opposite direction, now in eighth behind Di Giannantonio.

Joan Mir was out of the race after getting involved in an incident with Jack Miller, which is now under investigation.

The race was unfolding at a rapid pace, with Álex leading by 0.616s over his brother and rival. Bagnaia continued to drop down the order, now in 12th, and soon slipped to 13th.

By the halfway point, after gradually closing the gap, a change at the front was confirmed—Marc Márquez overtook Álex and took the lead for the first time.

Miller received a penalty for irresponsible riding in the incident involving Mir and quickly served his sanction.

Meanwhile, Bezzecchi was making steady progress after a tough qualifying session, where he crashed early. Rising from 20th, he had already climbed to ninth and into the points.

The medium tire on the rear was starting to prove stronger, and proof of this was Aldeguer, who beat Morbidelli and thus reached the podium places:

Márquez was in command and only a disaster would prevent him from winning again, maintaining an unstoppable trend in Aragón from the very beginning.

With the last lap underway it was just a matter of time until adding another victory, which was confirmed moments after!
