After praising the race held on Sunday by Francesco ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia, Gigi Dall’Igna also did not forget to mention Marc Márquez, highlighting the Spanish rider and saying that he is ‘a rediscovered champion’, which made #1’s race in Jerez even more valuable.
On LinkedIn, the General Manager of Ducati Corse at Ducati Motor Holding addressed the Spanish GP and the fierce battle between the two Ducati riders, and after praising Bagnaia, he also made sure to mention the Gresini Racing rider, stating: ‘All of this also thanks to a strong and indomitable Márquez, a rediscovered champion who further enhances Pecco’s achievement, in addition to doing justice to his team and the great work they are all doing together’.
Dall’Igna saw the tough but respectful duel: ‘It was a tough but fair dispute, with mutual respect, and the sign of great sportsmanship between these two great riders at the end of the race is a testament to that, a gesture that I greatly appreciated and that gives me particular satisfaction’.
And he concluded with a note about the championship, adding:
– This will be, for all intents and purposes, a long World Championship, to everyone’s liking: there will be no shortage of mistakes and race incidents. This is valid for everyone. In addition to the technical aspect, it will be essential to manage emotions well, between moments of joy and those of discouragement and tension, to find a constant balance based on the awareness that one must always give their all. Let’s go, Ducati!
