The former sports director of LCRHonda, Óscar Haro, addressed a series of topics in statements to Paddock TV.
‘I was in Japan and saw the greatness and what Honda is, the structure is highly organized. I also visited Ducati and it’s like comparing David and Goliath, and you are impressed. When I was invited by Ducati and made that comparison, you are amazed by what they have achieved. All my recognition to Ducati, who as a major sponsor held their hands to help them grow. The same goes for Aprilia. You can’t underestimate their evolution in recent years. It’s like when Stoner was at Ducati and everyone was amazed by what he did,’ he emphasized.
‘Ducati is a team that works and works well, they don’t rely only on information. The results have come now, they have won titles for the team, constructors, and riders’, added Óscar Haro, who took the opportunity to praise his compatriots Jorge Martín, the vice-world champion, and Marc Márquez.
‘When we talk about riders, with my old school mentality, I feel more identified with Martín, because he fights, likes to put on a show, but the one who won because he knew how to manage the points and the advantage he had. I had already said that Marc would be among the top three in the tests, his mentality, only a champion has it. He is not happy, he is ecstatic. Like a good poker player, he kept an ace up his sleeve’, he concluded.
