Marc Márquez is closer to making the most of himself and Ducati, believes Michele Masini, who analyzed the weekend the rider had in Losail.
‘It was a solid weekend for our team, on a track that is not easy for us. It is not one of Marc’s favorite tracks and where Álex [Márquez] always has problems, some vibration, some vibration. So, we can say that we are going to leave Qatar quite satisfied,’ said the Sporting Director of Gresini Racing to Marca, quoted by Crash.
Afterwards he addressed Marc’s weekend, with a positive assessment of the rider’s performance, emphasizing the need to continue working on his best adaptation to the bike:
– He [Marc] wasn’t far off. That means he is already at a good level. Of course, he still needs to know the correct riding style for this Ducati when the tires start to wear out. That’s what’s important here and what will make him take a step forward at the end of the races. He’s missing a few small things, but it’s clear that it’s a continuous evolution. In the end, he has already done some kilometers with the bike.
And he finished by saying that the rider is approaching the right position to be at his best: ‘He is changing things every day, he is adapting and conveying things to us that we also change to make his life easier. Let’s say he’s not that far off…’
