With Brad Binder and Pedro Acosta confirmed at Red Bull KTM in MotoGP for 2025, there are two spots to fill in the teams under the Pierer Mobility group – both at Red Bull GasGas Tech3 led by Hervé Poncharal.
The Frenchman commented on the current situation on the official championship website: ‘At the moment you have two clear spots at Pierer Mobility, which are Pedro and Brad Binder’s. The other two spots are up for grabs and everyone is talking to everyone‘.
In this context, could Marc Márquez be an option? KTM has distanced itself from the Spanish rider, but Poncharal does not close that door: ‘I know that yesterday Marc said that Pramac is not an option. So far he hasn’t said anything about Pierer Mobility, so we can continue to dream‘.
It should be noted that Márquez is currently at Gresini and may not have a place in the official Ducati team, nor a current Desmosedici GP in 2025. This Friday, the eight-time world champion was seen entering the KTM facilities in Mugello.
