It was with good humor that Álex Márquez finished the tests in Sepang, giving a high rating to his current level of happiness with the bike and providing a brief analysis of his brother Marc’s performance.
Regarding the work he did, Álex believes that he was able to fulfill almost all of the program in general and gave a rating to his work: ‘For this track, not much was missing. Of course, at the beginning we always have some ideas, to do 80 laps every day, but physically on the bike we also have to stop a bit… On a scale of 0 to 5, I’m at 4.5 in terms of happiness with the bike and the package we have.’
To finish, the Spanish rider was asked by the press if he had the opportunity to talk to his brother or if he was in a position to help him a little, to which he responded: ‘No, he is very close, he doesn’t need help in the beginning. He lost the first day completely and here when you arrive after the winter, and on the second day you are always behind, and he, on his second day of testing… he is too close to us.’
Álex Márquez finished day 3 of the tests with the fourth fastest time (1:56.938s), while Marc was sixth (1:57.270s).
