Heart-stopping action! An epic Moto2 race finale ends with Deniz Öncü beating Diogo Moreira by just 0.003s!

The session began with Jake Dixon running a 1:34.682s, ahead of González, who was expected to be beaten in moments.

Sergio García had a minor crash in the meantime, before González beat Dixon with a lap in 1:34.666s, with many drivers still on the track but preparing to head to their respective teams’ garages for the usual preparation for the second outing.

Before this stoppage, González improved his time again to 1:34.518s.

At the restart and with the decisive height for the attack on pole, the best was certainly yet to come.

Jorge Navarro fell, approximately two minutes from the end, without any serious consequences.

González improved again and made the bar hit 1:34.372s, which meant a difference of 0.310s to Dixon.

In the end, González delivered the final blow and confirmed pole position with a time of 1:34.315s.
