Repsol Honda has development concessions in MotoGP that allow them various advantages in private tests – including being able to use their regular riders. And between the Qatar and Portugal GPs, Luca Marini may have tested in Jerez.
According to Motorsport.com, the Italian had a day of testing at the Andalusian track last week, where test rider Stefan Bradl was also present. This allowed him to accumulate more kilometers on the RC213V, following a very challenging start in Losail.
I’s worth noting that Marini joins the Japanese manufacturer this year, marking his first experience in a factory team. He arrives in a challenging context, as Honda is on a lengthy path to returning to good results.
