LiveWire, the “green” brand of Harley-Davidson, is preparing to launch its third fully electric model: the S2 Mulholland. A dedicated page for the model has appeared on the website with a new teaser where we can observe some details that aim to create anticipation for the official presentation scheduled for March 21, 2024. The images show that the S2 Mulholland will understandably share many characteristics with the S2 Del Mar. The known basic architecture called S2 Arrow remains – apparently – the same, although there are certainly some differences in design and layout.
In the few images, we notice a new “tank” console with a different shape from the S2 Del Mar, suggesting possible changes in the structure. The fact that there is also a passenger in the video suggests more space. The handlebar seems to be mounted on higher supports and the rearview mirrors are in bar shape, while the headlights and turn signals seem to resemble more the style of the LiveWire One, suggesting a possible mix of style elements. While the S2 Del Mar has the screen mounted on top of the handlebar, it seems that in the S2 Mulholland this may have been moved down, presumably behind the handlebar supports. We can see the LiveWire panel on the fairing and the similar wheels to the Del Mar, in addition to the low protrusion on the rear wheel.
As we had anticipated, we expect the S2 Mulholland to have a slightly longer wheelbase and to be lighter, even if slightly, than the Del Mar, which has a declared weight of 197 kg and a projected range of 110 to 180 km. However, all doubts should be clarified on March 21, 2024, the first day of spring and the definitive date for the official presentation of Milwaukee’s third electric motorcycle, while awaiting the arrival of the S2 Del Mar, which was scheduled for last autumn.
