It is not uncommon to find motorcycle riders whose parents were also riders, with more or less relevance. However, the son of one of the MotoGP legends, Max Biaggi, will not follow in his father’s footsteps.
The Italian, who was a four-time 250cc champion and a two-time World Superbike champion, revealed, as quoted by Il Mattino, that his son does not like motorcycles and he even protects him from them: ‘My son does not have a passion for motorcycles, but I did not do anything to make him passionate. I protect my son. He doesn’t even have a bicycle‘.
Biaggi knows the risks of motorcycle racing well. In 2017, during a test near Rome, he crashed and suffered multiple injuries, which left him in the hospital.
