Li Ke is one of the many motorcycle manufacturers in China and has a scooter whose inspirations are clear. This is the Julio 125, which follows the legacy of the Honda Julio from 1998.
According to the Motorrad Online website, there are two versions: one with a single-cylinder engine displacing 50 cubic centimeters, and another with 125 cc. In both cases, the engine is air-cooled. In the 125 cc version, the maximum power is 9 hp at 7,500 revolutions per minute, while the maximum torque is 10 Nm at 6,800 rpm. There is a short oscillating arm at the front, and the front brake has a six-piston caliper.
Visually, Li Ke draws inspiration from the 1998 Honda Julio with some modern touches. Technically, the similarities are non-existent, also because the Japanese model was based on a now outdated two-stroke engine.
There are also inspirations from Lambretta, and at the front is an LED headlight. The Li Ke Julio 125 comes in two color options: one combines blue and white, and the other mixes yellow, blue, green, and pink. In China, the price is a real bargain: 8,600 yuan (about 1,089 euros).
