After leaving his position as Team HRC team director, Leon Camier will start the 2024 World Superbike season with the new Elf Marc VDS team – alongside fellow newcomer Sam Lowes.
According to GPOne.com, the British rider will be a consultant for the team and coach for the rider. For now, the collaboration will only be for the Phillip Island round and the test that takes place in Barcelona in March.
Continuing the partnership in the future is not ruled out. What is certain is that Marc VDS will rely on the experience and knowledge of someone as experienced as Camier to take their first steps in WSBK, as he has had a long career in the championship as a rider and more recently as a team manager.
