The debut of the new Factory series of KTM motocross machines is just around the corner. We’ll have to wait until January 6 for the first round of the AMA Supercross championship, when we’ll be able to see the new KTM SX-F Factory in action, the richest and sportiest representative of KTM’s motocross production.
In perfect Factory style, there will be no shortage of details that make this series so appealing and desirable. For example, the anodized steering guards, the orange-painted frame and many other special features reserved only for Factory models are an indelible signature, but the most substantial innovations are found elsewhere, in the frame, such as the new rear monoshock, now stiffer and lighter, and the new engine mounts, also lighter and more flexible, to provide better ride and handling during use.
Both the 450 and 250 Factory are equipped with the new Offroad Connectivity Unit, but extras include an Akrapovič exhaust, a new filter box cover, a carbon-reinforced 4-bolt Factory engine guard and a beautiful billet Hinson clutch cover – in short, enthusiasts will have plenty to dream about this winter season.
Of course, the standard version of the future KTM SX will also enjoy improvements and refinements, for which there is no shortage of Power Parts, but the Factory models remain the most attractive and appealing of the KTM brand.
