Remember the KTM 1290 Super Duke R equipped by Brabus? Well, the 1300 R Masterpiece Edition, produced in only 50 units, may not be the last collaboration between the two companies, as announced last September.
This is suggested by some patents registered at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) on March 1, 2024. The documents mention a “Brabus 1400 R Rocket” and, given the use of the name Rocket in previous Brabus models, it will be, if there were any doubts, an ultra-high performance variant. The engine is expected to be a 1,350 cc LC8, already in series, but renewed. However, there may be different configurations: there is talk of the “Brabus 1400 R Tailor Made”, probably a customized version that will be built according to the individual preferences of the customer, but also of the “Brabus 1400 R Signature”, which we assume may have even more luxurious details.
At the time of writing this article, there is no confirmed news from either Brabus or KTM.
