The year ends on a positive note for KTM employees. This Friday, December salaries were paid, offering some relief to their situation.
According to the Kronen Zeitung website, the insolvency administrator, Peter Vogl, confirmed that December wages have been paid for employees at KTM AG, KTM Components, and KTM F&H.
However, November salaries and Christmas bonuses remain unpaid. In this case, the funds will only be available to workers through the insolvency fund in January.
Despite this progress, thousands of employees continue to face an uncertain future. The recovery and viability of KTM AG and its subsidiaries will require further layoffs, with approximately 300 positions reportedly at risk.
