The KTM 990 Duke makes its intentions perfectly clear. In addition to a powerful engine, a completely new frame, and swingarm design – not to mention updated ergonomics and technology – the KTM 990 Duke now stands up to larger displacement bikes, both in terms of engine size and proportions.
This new design is further enhanced by two color options in Black and Electric Orange – the latter specifically developed to celebrate the 30 years of the Duke.

The seductive design combines with simple style, with an enhanced LED headlight that stands out on the new KTM 990 Duke. Built from a carefully selected mix of materials, the new design ensures stable lighting in all road conditions. The daytime running lights are located in the headlight profile, which also automatically adjusts the intensity according to ambient light conditions, thanks to a light sensor integrated into the instrument panel.
Additionally, the KTM 990 Duke is equipped with a Coming Home light function as standard. Here, the headlight will remain on after the ignition has been turned off, providing the rider with better visibility when the motorcycle is parked in the garage, for example.
The power is provided by an updated version of the LC8c engine found in the KTM 890 Duke R. With 947 cc, the heart of the KTM 990 Duke receives new pistons, crankshaft, and connecting rod, producing 124.7 hp and 103 Nm, with a total weight of just 179 kg.The KTM 990 Duke has its DNA from the long lineage of high-performance Duke models that preceded it, adding more vigor and aggressiveness. It is a performance-oriented model at its core, designed around a lightweight and flexible frame that inspires maximum confidence to the rider.

The WP APEX suspension installed on the KTM 990 Duke features easy-to-adjust settings, encouraging the rider to comfortably push the limits. In the front, the 43mm WP APEX suspension can be easily and precisely adjusted with 5 clicks on compression and rebound. In the rear, the WP APEX Monotube shock absorber can be adjusted in 5 clicks, with manual preload adjustment also possible.
