The new KTM 990 Duke, which represents a huge step forward for KTM’s Naked range, aims directly at the coveted 1000 naked bikes segment.
With 2024 marking the 30th anniversary of the Duke, the new KTM 990 Duke fits into the lineup as a well-developed bike. Aimed to be the most performance-oriented naked model, the KTM 990 Duke meets all mechanical requirements while presenting a new radical style.

The KTM 990 Duke makes its intentions perfectly clear. In addition to a powerful engine, a completely new frame, and swingarm design – not to mention updated ergonomics and technology – the KTM 990 Duke now stands up to larger displacement bikes, both in terms of engine size and proportions.
This new design is further enhanced by two color options in Black and Electric Orange – the latter specifically developed to celebrate the 30 years of the Duke.

In typical Duke style, a rigid trellis frame and a new trellis swingarm come together to accommodate high-quality adjustable WP APEX suspension components. These, along with the proven Bridgestone S22 tires on the circuit, provide great precision and stability in corners.
The WP APEX suspension installed on the KTM 990 Duke features easy-to-adjust settings, encouraging the rider to comfortably push the limits. In the front, the 43mm WP APEX suspension can be easily and precisely adjusted with 5 clicks on compression and rebound. In the rear, the WP APEX Monotube shock absorber can be adjusted in 5 clicks, with manual preload adjustment also possible.

Once seated, riders are greeted with a 5-inch scratch-resistant glass instrument panel that provides all the information a KTM 990 Duke rider may need. Renewed graphics and menu structure are designed for quicker and more intuitive access to the various features of the KTM 990 Duke. These include a new function that displays lean angle data, with an optional TRACK mode complete with lap timer and telemetry statistics. A USB-C connection has also been added for device charging.
