In a surprising move, the CEO and founder of KOVE, Zhang Xue, is stepping down from his position at the company he co-founded with other investors in 2017.
A first press release from the Chinese company – which we reproduce in full below – speaks of his resignation as of February 28 and that Zhang Xue has decided to temporarily step away from the management of the company to pursue his dreams, while remaining among the shareholders of KOVE. It is reinforced in the same note that the commitment to Dakar and the WSBK goal will not be lost.
For his part, Xue announced and explained his decision in a video posted on social media. It is certainly an unexpected blow that has not failed to surprise, given the importance of Zhang Xue’s figure for KOVE to date, particularly due to his firsthand involvement in the sporting achievements of the young Chinese manufacturer.
