Augusto Fernández will enter his second season in MotoGP. With the previous experience of a year in the premier category, he knew better which points and aspects to prepare and improve.
The Spanish rider from Red Bull GasGas Tech3 told the press that he sought to focus on his identified weaknesses, but did not change much in his physical preparation for 2024:
– Last season, I have to say that I was training without knowing how the bike would be, how the tires would be, and everything. So, this year, knowing also my weakest points of the season – qualifying and the first laps of the race – I was trying to improve that by focusing more on those things. Physically, it was more or less the same because I was happy with my physical level. Now in the test, I will get to know the bike and continue working to arrive well at the first race.
