**A Legacy of Remarkable Influence**

Robert Jonas, the Vice President of Offroad Racing, reflected on Benavides’s immediate and lasting influence on the team dynamics. He remarked, “It’s been a real privilege to have Kevin as part of our rally program. He came into the team as a Dakar winner and instantly added something special—not just in terms of results, but also with his attitude, his approach to racing, and the energy he brought to the group.” This sentiment speaks volumes about how Benavides inspired those around him, elevating the collective spirit of the squad.

Jonas highlighted a pinnacle moment in their partnership: “Winning Dakar again in 2023 with us was a standout moment, but beyond the trophies, Kevin has always represented what it means to be a top-level racer.” This affirmation emphasizes that his achievements extended beyond personal accolades, symbolizing a shared aspiration within the team.

**Passion and Dedication Cherished**

Andreas Hölzl, the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Rally Team Manager, also expressed his appreciation, underscoring the emotional weight of Benavides’s departure. Hölzl shared, “It’s not easy to see Kevin retire, especially after everything we’ve been through together over the past few years. From the moment he joined the team, Kevin brought so much passion, determination, and professionalism.” Such emotions illustrate the bond forged through shared struggles and triumphs.

The memories created together are precious to Hölzl, who remarked, “We shared some incredible moments—none bigger than his Dakar win with us in 2023—and he’s always been a rider who gave absolutely everything.” This not only emphasizes Benavides’s dedication but also highlights the unique experiences that characterize teamwork in such high-stakes environments.

**Looking Forward with Fond Memories**

With Benavides moving on, there is an undeniable sense of loss felt throughout the KTM family. Hölzl noted, “His presence will be missed, but we’re proud to have been part of his journey and we wish him the very best for what comes next.” This farewell encapsulates a journey filled with shared dreams and achievements that will forever be etched in the collective memory of the team.

As Kevin Benavides embarks on the next chapter of his career, he leaves behind a legacy marked by passion, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to excellence that will inspire future generations of rally racers. The journey continues, not just for Benavides, but for KTM, who will carry forward the lessons and inspirations gleaned during their time together.
