Keeway recently surprised by presenting a completely new model in a segment where the brand has no history. The TX450R looks like a bike ready to tackle the Dakar rally and has good specifications for those seeking a lot of off-road adventure.
It has a fuel tank with a capacity of 28 liters and the single-cylinder 449 cc engine, with liquid cooling, is expected to deliver about 42 hp. There are various protections to withstand the rough treatment off-road and the front inverted fork has a generous travel of 280 mm, with a traditional monoshock mounted at the rear. The wheels are 21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the back, and in the braking equipment we can find material from the renowned Nissin brand.
The instrumentation is expected to consist of a 5” TFT panel that will record all trip data, and the controls are backlit to facilitate nighttime travel.
We are curious to know more about this Keeway TX450R, which currently does not have a price or availability for our country.
