Launched by Honda in 1987, the Transalp model has been a myth and a dream for several generations of motorcyclists. This year, the Japanese manufacturer introduced the XL750, a new version of the famous road enduro, more evolved, technological and different in many aspects from its “ancestor”, notably in the engine, which is now a two-cylinder in-line engine.
For this motorcycle, Kappa has developed specific accessories that can be used to create true travel equipment capable of matching the adventurous spirit of the bike.
The versatile crossover character, capable of offering safety and comfort both on and off-road, and the light and bold lines have contributed to making the Transalp one of Honda’s most appreciated motorcycles of all time. Kappa decided to equip the new 2023 model with a complete set.
THE LUGGAGE
For this motorcycle, the Monokey aluminum K’MISSION trio was chosen, consisting of the KMS36APACK2 side cases, each with 36 liters, and the KMS44A top case, with a capacity of 44 liters.
To mount the trio on the Transalp, the specific support for side cases PL ONE-FIT configured with a KLO1201MK MONOKEY fitting is required. The component is robust (18 mm tubular) and combined with the 12RKITK component becomes a quick release fitting.
The top case is fixed through the rear support KR1201 + one of the MONOKEY KM5, KM8A, KM8B, KM9A, KM9B. The KM8A (made of anodized aluminum with 5 mm thickness) is the one shown in the motorcycle photograph.
