José Mourinho was a guest at the Portuguese MotoGP, marking the first time he had the opportunity to attend an event in the premier class of motorcycle racing live.
The renowned football coach had the chance to visit several teams and drivers in the paddock – such as Ducati, Gresini, or Trackhouse Racing, including his compatriot Miguel Oliveira. And at the end of the race, he had a privilege afforded to few: waving the checkered flag.
Speaking to MotoGP’s official platforms, Mourinho spoke about his connection to the championship: ‘I’m connected by passion and by friends. So I have friends in MotoGP and I have passion for it. And I watch regularly on TV. But my life is not the easiest one and it’s the first time I have this opportunity’.
