In the third round of the MXGP, everything went well for the Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing rider, who emerged as the winner of the first race.

The #1’s main opponent was Tim Gajser (Team HRC), who beat him by 5.279s, while Jeffrey Herlings (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) was third at a distance of 39.521s. Glenn Coldenhoff (Fantic Factory Racing) was fourth and Pauls Jonass (Standing Construct Honda) was fifth.

Romain Febvre was the best Kawasaki Racing rider in sixth and Calvin Vlaanderen the best Monster Energy Yamaha rider in seventh.

In the second race the difference was slim, if not none at all when it came to the top three: Prado dominated once again and even finished with a much bigger lead than Gajser this time, with more than 16s separating them. Herlings was “closer” to the competition this time, but still a long way off, at over 27s.

Jonass was fourth this time, ahead of Febvre.

In the overall GP classification, Prado won the 50 points at stake, with Gajser taking 44 and Herlings 40.

Overall in the championship Prado leads the way with 174 points so far, Gajser is second with 157 and Herlings third with 125.
