Having a place in the factory is a true desire that Jorge Martín has, and he doesn’t even bother to hide it. The MotoGP vice-champion of 2023 failed (once again) his goal of joining the official Ducati team, but despite that, he says he really likes the atmosphere of his current team at Pramac Racing, revealing what he would try to do if he were in the factory.
In statements to AS, quoted in Crash, the Spaniard recalled some of the differences between being in the garage of a satellite team and that of an official team: ‘The difference between being in an official team and a satellite team is that there are more people working.’
The current team he competes for has a very pleasant atmosphere, but if he were to join the factory team, he would try to change some things, he confessed: ‘I prefer the atmosphere of my team because it is a group and more like a family. So, I would try to change that because they are too serious, but they work seriously when they have to work, of course,’ he said before finishing:
– The difference is that they have more people, but in terms of [parts for the bike] I don’t think there is a difference.
