Jorge Martín had an absolutely disastrous race today in Losail and at the end of the race, in his first analysis, he didn’t leave many doubts when considering that something strange happened with his bike, but he didn’t hide a feeling of frustration when admitting that he feels like his championship was stolen.
Questioned about what happened today in the race, the Spanish rider admitted not knowing what happened: ‘Well, I don’t know, it’s hard to say, it seems like I forgot how to ride. I think you could see right from the start when my rear tire started spinning, it was like a rock, and that normally happens when the track is dirty but it wasn’t, it was the grid, and when the tire has maybe 30 laps, and it didn’t because it was new’.
Then the Pramac rider was quite enigmatic about what happened with his bike, and didn’t hide the feeling that he was ‘robbed’. If he is thinking about sabotage in some way, that question remains in the air:
– You can guess what happened for yourselves and from that point on I tried to manage but felt like I was falling at every turn due to the rear. It’s a shame that a championship like this, after a great season, working hard, feel like it was stolen from me because I believe I could have gotten there before this race and now it’s very difficult. It’s hard to know what will happen on Sunday.
