What will be the future of Jorge Martín in MotoGP? This is one of the big questions to be answered at this stage of the season, with the Pramac rider aiming to make the leap to Ducati. His manager, Albert Valera, spoke about the subject.
In an interview with the championship’s official website, the agent stated that for a long time the official Ducati team has been the dream of the current World Championship leader, who has been working towards achieving that goal:
– Well, I was talking and I remembered when Jorge was in Moto3 he was already dreaming of becoming a factory rider at Ducati. Everything he has done so far in his career was to join that team. So, if he maybe repeats the same statement it’s because he really dreams of it and is sure of his ideas and desires.
For now, according to Valera, the move to Ducati is not certain yet, but he believes that Martín has already proven he deserves it: ‘I can’t say if it will happen or not. What I can say is that he is doing his best and I think he doesn’t need to prove anything else than what he has done so far to show that he deserves the place. Then, whether it will happen or not, it’s not up to us. We are doing our best and we just wish to see him in red. He really deserves it‘.
