After another successful round that secured the maintenance of first place in the MotoGP standings, the truth is that Jorge Martín continues to experience some difficulties in a very peculiar aspect of riding, something more related to the bike as he explained, noting however that this cannot be an excuse.
The Spaniard talked about the vibrations he still felt on his bike during the race, something that is not new to him this year and is deserving attention from the team: ‘It was a little better, although we are working hard. I still don’t feel 100% with the bike. I had some vibrations, not many, but I think maybe I was losing one or two tenths every lap because of it’.
This requires an adjustment but… it’s not an excuse, he emphasized: ‘I need to lift the bike and it’s not natural, but it’s what we have. So, we have no excuses and we have to solve the problem’.
After three rounds, Martín has 80 points in the championship, 21 more than the closest pursuer, Enea Bastianini.
