After the first round of the MotoGP World Championship, Jorge Martín and Gresini are the first leaders in the satellite team standings.
With the victory in the Sprint race and third place in the main race at Losail, Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) scored 28 points, compared to ten for Marc Márquez (Gresini/Ducati). In third place is Álex Márquez (Gresini/Ducati) with 13 points, followed by Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46/Ducati) and rookie Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GasGas Tech3/KTM) with nine points each. Miguel Oliveira (Trackhouse Racing/Aprilia) is eighth and the last of those who scored, with one point for finishing 15th in the main race.
Among the satellite teams, Gresini leads with 31 points. The Márquez brothers achieved the most consistent performance and the team has three more points than Pramac – which gathered 28 points only with Martín, since Franco Morbidelli is still adapting after missing the preseason and has not scored yet. VR46, in third, is already 20 points behind the top. The last of the satellite teams is Trackhouse Racing with only one point. Independent standings:
