Jordi Torres’ continuation in MotoE with the Openbank Aspar Team is confirmed. The champion of 2020 and 2021 was once again in the title fight this year, achieving a total of two wins and six podiums.
The Spanish rider is 36 years old and is one of the most experienced in the electric motorcycle championship – he only did not compete in the inaugural season in 2019. He quickly became one of the leaders of the pack, consistently fighting at the top, and this year finished in second place.
In a statement, Torres commented: ‘It has been a year full of emotions, in which we worked together as a team to become MotoE vice-champions. The Openbank Aspar Team is already a second family to me and in 2024 we will continue to fight for the title together‘.
