Jordi Torres continues in the MotoE World Championship this year, staying with the Openbank Aspar team – the team he joined in 2023. After being the runner-up last year, the goals are not modest, as expected.
The champion of 2020 and 2021 made it clear in a statement that his goal is to be back in the fight for top positions and the title, stating:
– After a great season together in 2023, it is a great joy to start this year again at the Openbank headquarters, which, together with the Aspar Team, forms a great family where I felt very welcome from day one. We are competing together for another year and we want to continue where we left off. Last year we achieved podiums and victories and fought for the title until the end, and now that will be our goal again. We have 16 races ahead, it’s a long championship, but there is no room for error.
