The World Superbike Championship is about to return and Jonathan Rea has a clear idea of what he wants to do and how he can achieve it in France.
Here is the preview from the British rider, who will be on Yamaha from 2024:
– Magny Cours is a track that I really like and where I have had a lot of success in the past. It has a bit of everything and requires a bike that brakes well, accelerates well, and is agile in direction changes. We have to maximize our potential on the tire limit, because the long straight at Magny Cours can be quite punishing. Then, it features the best passing zone on the track, the Adelaide hairpin.
The British rider is confident after a good test in Spain and has clear goals: ‘After a good test at Motorland Aragón last week, I feel confident that we can go there and do a good job. It is the beginning of an important part of the year where races come quickly. So, hopefully we can start this period well. The goal is to be on the podium and fight for wins in the races’.
