The Endurance World Championship (EWC) will have its decisive round this weekend with a special guest to sponsor the event, the 24 Hours of Bol D’Or in France.
At the Paul Ricard circuit, F.C.C. TSR Honda France is seeking the 2023 title in a championship they lead with 138 points, 13 more than the YART Yamaha Official Team EWC, while the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team is third, 38 points behind the leaders.
A total of 85 points are at stake, as points are also awarded for the 8 and 16-hour races (the first and second thirds of the race, respectively). The winning team will earn 60 points, with the second and third-place teams receiving 49.5 and 42 points, respectively.
This could even be a highlight for Honda, which has faced difficulties in various motorcycle disciplines this year.
