The Moto2 World Championship stayed in Le Mans for a test day on Tuesday after the French GP, with Joe Roberts being the fastest man. The day was marked by a crash of Adrián Huertas.

Only seven riders were present accross the two sessions. In the first one, Roberts (OnlyFans American Racing Team/Kalex) set the pace with a 1m35.135s la+ to finish ahead of Sergio García (QJMotor-Frinsa-MSi/Boscoscuro).

Lap times were faster in the afternoon session, with six of the seven riders doing their personal bests. But the standings were similar, with Roberts leading thanks to a 1m34.668s lap.

García repeated the second place 0.727s behind, followed by Huertas. The Spaniard from Italtrans Racing Team ended the day earlier due to a crash that cost him a broken collarbone and subsequent surgery.

Ivan Ortolá (QJMotor-Frinsa-MSi/Boscoscuro) was fourth, with Yuki Kunii (Idemitsu Honda Team Asia/Kalex) in fifth. Jorge Navarro (Klint Forward) was the only rider who didn’t improve between sessions, finishing sixth ahead of his teammate, Daniel Muñoz.
