Joan Mir is eager to get into action at the next GP, this weekend in Losail. However, the Honda rider expects things to be interesting because he is facing the track with a ‘new’ bike and at a different time of the year, recalling that he had previously had ‘decent’ performances at the location.
In a team statement, number 36 previewed the upcoming days of competition:
– We will continue to work, to strive, and to race until the last lap in Valencia. This weekend will not be different. For me, personally, I had some decent results in Qatar in the past and there is a new surface with all the changes, so it will be interesting to race with the Honda there. It’s another weekend for us to learn as much as we can.
