Joan Mir returned to Sepang this Sunday with a race that will certainly not be well remembered. With only four laps completed, nine minutes after the start, the Spanish rider crashed and ended his participation prematurely, showing frustration but not forgetting that the manufacturer has a lot of room for improvement.
After the long race at the Malaysian GP, the Spanish rider spoke with reporters on site and assured that despite the crash, he will not give up: ‘It’s hard for me to come to the press and always tell the same story, but if I keep falling, I won’t give up’.
The confidence for the future is high for the former world champion, although Mir acknowledges that there is a lot of work ahead: ‘The room for improvement for Honda next year is huge, they have a lot of work ahead’.
