Jett Lawrence is a rookie in AMA Supercross 450, but looking at how he shows up and dominates on the tracks, it’s hard to believe that. Now in Indianapolis, the rider returned to Honda something that Ken Roczen had already done, with the German being, interestingly, the one who suffered the most at the hands of Lawrence at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The rider who won all three Triple Crown races in Indy was very happy with how he performed: ‘It was cool to be the second person to win all three main events and the first since Ken Roczen when he was on a Honda. I loved keeping that tradition alive for the team’.
And he continued his analysis: ‘The track on Saturday night was very challenging; it could catch us at any time. It was scary to ride alongside someone in the rhythm sections, but it made for some good races. It was easy to lose and gain time, no doubt. I knew the starts would be crucial and I was very pleased with my position in all three races’.
