There are adjustments to the World Superbike calendar for this year. The Supersport and Supersport 300 World Championships are also affected, as the round that changes dates is Jerez.
The Jerez Ángel Nieto Circuit continues to host the last race of the season. However, the round is postponed for one week to October 18-20 (originally scheduled for October 11-13). According to a statement, the postponement ‘responds to the dynamic requirements of the local events calendar and the request from the municipality of Jerez de la Frontera’.
This is the only adjustment, with the start of the season still scheduled for February 23-25 at Phillip Island. Before that, on February 19-20, the same Australian circuit will host the only official test of the year for WSBK and WSSP.
