Among the various rumors about Pedro Acosta’s move to MotoGP in 2024, it was speculated that he could take Jack Miller’s place at Red Bull KTM – with Miller only making wildcard appearances.
In an interview with AMCN, the Australian highlighted that he has been performing well in his first season with the RC16, so he never really cared about what was being said:
– I got two podiums if we include the sprint races; and some really reasonable results in just 11 races with this bike. And I’m supposed to go home for half of next season. The only thing I can deduce now is that it’s the only thing that will make the sites get clicks, so that’s the only reason they put it there. I couldn’t care less.
