As a rookie, Pedro Acosta needs many kilometers on the bike to adapt to MotoGP. In the tests that ended yesterday in Losail, he once again was one of the riders who rode the most, completing 72 laps on the last day alone – which included a sequence of 22 consecutive laps in a race simulation.
Asked about how he felt physically after that race simulation, the Spanish rider assured that he had no problems, although he admits it was an intense testing day in which he started to feel tired:
– Well. It’s true that we also did 72 laps and it was the first day I started to feel tired. There were several laps, the race simulation, trying out various things, also two attacks on the stopwatch in the afternoon – perhaps too late for me – start practice… there were several things. I don’t have much time to do it. I think we used a lot of the day’s time. As for the physical condition during the [race simulation], it was good. It’s true that it could be better, it could be worse, but it’s a good starting point.
