With no space on the main circuit in 2024, Pol Espargaró is already looking towards 2025.
‘It’s difficult to plan life. Unexpected things always happen. It’s part of life to adapt to all life circumstances. And I’m not just referring to competition, but also to normal life,’ the rider began by saying to DAZN microphones.
‘It is true that there were mistakes within the factory that led to this outcome and that could have been avoided, but it is also true that considering the whole situation and the commitment I made to the factory, we had to reach an understanding between both parties to let young and talented riders, like Pedro, be part of the team. Not only do I accept this new role, but I also commit to helping them in the future to be competitive. As for my long-term future, I no longer know what to expect,’ he explained.
Pol Espargaró currently occupies the 23rd position in the standings with 12 points.
