One week after making his debut on the podiums in the World Endurance Championship (WEC), Valentino Rossi traveled to Jerez to support his Pertamina Enduro VR46 team at the Spanish MotoGP Grand Prix.
One of the riders is Marco Bezzecchi, who was quoted by the website GPone.com about what it means to have Il Dottore in the garage. And he admitted that it is a significant advantage:
– It’s better to have Vale in the garage than a girlfriend. Vale definitely helps a lot, because he comes to see us on the track and gives us a lot of advice, so there is a lot to gain from him and it’s really nice to have him here with us.
It is worth noting that this morning Bezzecchi achieved second place on the grid for the Spanish Grand Prix – by far his best qualifying of the season so far.
