The focus is clear for Luca Marini who sees MotoGP in Austin as another opportunity to continue growing on board the Honda and that is exactly what he intends to do at the Americas GP, a place with good memories.
In his first season with the Japanese manufacturer, things are not going as well as Marini would have thought with the RC213V, but his mind is focused on the bigger goal, with the rider previewing the next GP across the Atlantic:
– Austin holds a special place in my heart and I have good memories from last year. We are in a different situation this year, but I am still confident that we can make further progress in America. It is a very particular circuit in Texas and it has been seen that Honda has had success there in the past. Regardless of the track, our focus and intention remain the same as we continue to build this project.
After two rounds, Marini is one of the three riders who have yet to score a single point this season.
