Currently in WSBK, the BMW ROKit WorldSBK team continues to impress, not only due to the acquisition of Toprak Razgatlioglu, who continues to achieve the best results the German team has had in WSBK, but also in the change of team dynamics.
His teammate Michael Van der Mark is no exception and has shown very solid numbers in the recent races, placing himself in the top 10 five times, including a fourth place in the Catalunya GP. Team manager Shaun Muir, in statements to Speedweek, spoke about the development that has taken place since the beginning of the season:
– ‘It is undeniable that the bike has improved during the winter. We did not expect such progress after the challenges faced in Australia and Catalunya. Toprak was a game changer. We have been participating in the world championship since 2016, with podiums, pole positions, and wins in sprint races, but Toprak has taken the project to a whole new level’.
