Francesco Bagnaia could clinch the title at the Cheste circuit in the Grand Prix of the Valencian Community, the final race of this MotoGP season. The Spanish rider has extended his lead over Jorge Martín, now having a cushion of 21 points with 37 still up for grabs. Is everything closed regarding the champion in the premier class of speed?
‘The championship has become complicated for Jorge Martín after the race in Losail, but it’s not impossible. Many things could happen in the race. The title is still possible, although Martín arrives in Valencia in a different position than he would like. I believe we will have a very intense race, in which the championship could be decided in the last race of the season and for the fans it will be the best thing that could happen,’ anticipates Álex Crivillé to Marca.
The former rider also points out that whoever keeps a cooler head will have a slight advantage.
‘Prior mindset and during the race will be crucial. Each of the two will have to adapt their own strategy and give everything in a race that promises to be full of great emotions’, concluded the former 500cc champion.
