Fabio Quartararo faces the MotoGP Spanish GP with the same mindset he has had this year – focusing on improving the bike rather than the results. The Monster Energy Yamaha rider is currently in 12th place in the championship.
The 2021 world champion emphasized that he is focused on the development of the YZR-M1, with a lot of work to do at this stage – just as has been done in recent weeks:
– We tried several things in Austin and that was great because it gave us more clarity. Cal [Crutchlow] tested in Barcelona last week, and we also have a test day here in Jerez after the race. So, it’s a busy period for us, and we hope to get a lot of work done, because our main goal now is bike development.
Days after turning 25, Quartararo made sure to thank everyone for the messages he received: ‘I celebrated my birthday last weekend and I want to thank everyone because I received many congratulatory messages, and I saw many messages from the fans‘.
