The feeling within the Gresini Racing team is one of excitement with the arrival of Marc Márquez. This is according to one of the team’s officials, Michele Masini.
‘We welcome a champion like Marc Márquez with great pleasure and pride. It is certainly due to the result of our choices. We decided to continue with the team in 2021, chose Ducati, chose Enea Bastianini and achieved results with him, Álex Márquez…’, declared the sports director in statements to Spanish DAZN.
‘For a champion like Marc Márquez to see our team as a team to go to and have fun, and when a rider has fun, they achieve results, it is an immense pride’, he added.
Masini spoke about the partnership with Ducati, which is an added value.
‘This is one of the things that I appreciate the most. Of course, when there is a technical package with Ducati that works, in relation to the rest, we, as a team, believe that the human aspect is what makes the difference. If a rider feels truly supported, it will allow them to give their best on the track. […]. Of course, in theory, we have everything to achieve exceptional results’.
The Gresini duo of riders will be formed by the Márquez brothers, Álex and Marc.
