After his victory at the Jerez GP, Francesco Bagnaia spoke to SpeedWeek to give a brief idea of what the season has been like for him and his personal life so far.
The Italian rider is currently second in the MotoGP world championship, 17 points behind his Prima Pramac Racing rival Jorge Martín.
Pecco began by talking about the new ritual he has before getting on his bike, which hasn’t gone unnoticed.
– It’s something I’ve been doing for a long time. I like doing it because it calms me down a bit. It’s my routine. You always do the same things because you know it works for you. I’m superstitious, but only a little. I do things like this to prepare for the race.
Pecco added about his performance at the Jerez GP: ‘The race was fantastic. Last year it wasn’t easy, but then we started to improve our sensations during the sessions and the race was a good fight with the KTMs. In the end I won, which was good.
