In late November, Marc Márquez had his first contact with the Ducati Desmosedici GP23. Enea Bastianini, a factory rider for the manufacturer, didn’t overlook the work of the Gresini Spanish rider and even believes that next year’s season will be challenging.
The Italian rider commented the performance the #93 has shown: ‘I’ve checked the data to see Marc’s style and was really good from the start. He took little time to be fast, because the Ducati is a good bike for this – for the first impact. I’ve seen also his time attack, it was really good. Probably he is the fastest Ducati rider in the corner 11. For the rest, it’s normal’.
Bastianini also admitted that he expects a challenging season in 2024: ‘I’m curious to see how will be the next season, because if this season was complicated, the next one will be more complicated to everybody’.
