If Jorge Martín becomes MotoGP champion, Ducati will see the rider from their factory team – Francesco Bagnaia – lose a battle to a rival from a satellite team. In any case, the champion will be someone riding a Desmosedici GP23 and connected to the Borgo Panigale manufacturer.
Oscar Haro told Paddock TV that if the Spaniard becomes champion, Ducati will still have reasons to be satisfied: ‘Gigi Dall’Igna [general manager of Ducati Corse] has a different mentality. If Jorge Martín wins the World Championship, he will be happy because he will win with a Ducati and because he will win with his project of trusting young and non-official riders‘.
There are three rounds left in the season and anything can happen in the title fight. Bagnaia leads by only 13 points ahead of Martín, and with such small margins it has already become clear that even during a GP everything can change.
